About
A philanthropist, businesswoman, and a family woman, Reem El-Rifai is the CEO/Founder of Baybooks Bookkeeping, a Bookkeeping and Accounting firm.
Reem is the former Executive Director of Allen Temple Housing & Economic Development Co. (ATHEDCO), a nonprofit organization.
With a strong knowledge of both cash and accrual accounting systems, Reem has experience in all aspects of financial forecasting, resource allocation, fund management, accounting and control.
Furthermore, Reem El-Rifai, is experienced in working with community collaborations, networking and working with community stakeholders. She is currently serving as the Vice President at The BNI, Vision of Exchange chapter and was recently appointed as the Vice President of the Lebanese American Association, LAA.
​As an Accounting and HR Specialist, she has written ATHEDCO’s Employees Handbook, Grants Management Handbook, Accounting Handbook, the Program On-Site Monitoring Guide, LAA's Volunteers Handbook, Accounting Policies & Procedures and Board of Director's Policies and Procedures.
Reem holds a Bachelor Degree in Public Administration and Political Science from the American University of Beirut, AUB.
